Our story
Born in Torrance, building it ever since
Roy was born and raised in Torrance and has loved building and designing things for as long as he can remember. In 1982 he turned that into a business, and he’s been creating beautiful outdoor spaces for South Bay home and property owners ever since — 44 years under the same California contractor’s license (C8 Concrete, C29 Masonry #427246).
With his wife Kim, Roy built the company the same way they build projects: carefully, honestly, and to last. They pride themselves on work that’s beautifully finished and on budget — and on telling you straight when a cheaper fix is the right one.
The crew is the other half of the story. Many of the team have been with Roy for more than twenty years, and that shared experience shows up in the work: deep knowledge of concrete and masonry, and the kind of on-site synergy you only get from people who have poured, formed, and finished together for decades.
